How to share your Facebook post via email and on other social media

It is always a headache to share a Facebook post on other social media platforms or via email. Apparently Facebook has made sharing easy on its own platform, while complicated on others. The desktop version of the platform does not provide an option for users to directly share the post via a hyperlink.

I am not sure if they do it on purpose, but below is a (relatively) simple guide on how to share a post easily on other platforms:

1. First, hit the symbol on the top-right hand corner of your post.

Then, hit 'Save post'.

2. Go to 'Saved Posts' to see all your posts saved on Facebook.

Once you chose to save the post, a message will pop up as follows. Hit the hyperlink as shown to look for your saved post.

3. Copy the hyperlink by right-clicking the post and choosing 'copy link address'. Then share on wherever you want.

Now you are on the page which lists all the Facebook posts you have saved.

Right click the title of the post, and hit 'copy link address'.

You will now be able to share the post on anywhere you want!

Via email:

Or on Twitter, etc.:

N.B. If you want to share your personal posts to people who you do not know, make sure to change the setting of your picture to 'public'. Note that your post can now be seen by anyone in the world.

That's very easy. Just click 'share' on the post and hit 'copy link'. Follow Step 3 of the above and you will be able to share your post anywhere.
